Our Teachers
At Little Sprouts, we keep our class intentionally small with two caring, experienced teachers who guide and support the children each day- offering a nurturing, playful, creative, environment for every keiki to thrive.
Emily Klein
Founder & Main Teacher
Emily is the heart behind Little Sprouts. With 30 years of experience working with children — including raising three of her own — she brings warmth, creativity, and deep presence to everything she does.
She holds a teaching credential and has spent decades supporting children’s growth both inside and outside the classroom. Her approach is rooted in respect — for the child, for the family, and for the natural rhythm of early childhood.
Drawing from Montessori principles and creative learning, and a lifelong love for Hawaiʻi, Emily creates a space where children feel safe, seen, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
From morning bread-making to supporting big emotions, Emily’s gift is in her ability to connect — helping each child build confidence, curiosity, and compassion.
Above all, she believes that the early years should be magical, creative, and filled with joy.
Anna Fraser
Assistant Teacher
Anna is the gentle, grounding presence in the Little Sprouts classroom — the yin to Teacher Emily’s yang. Soft-spoken, nurturing, and deeply intuitive, she has a natural ability to connect with children in a calm, reassuring way that helps them feel instantly at ease.
A graduate of BYUH with a teaching credential and years of experience working with young children, Anna brings both warmth and skill to everything she does. Whether she’s kneeling beside a child during a tricky moment or quietly guiding a small group through a creative activity, her huge heart and steady presence shine through.
Anna is a quiet force in the classroom — patient, thoughtful, and full of love — and we feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of the Little Sprouts family.
